As your security admin, by subscribing to Defender for Office plans we will be better armed to protect your Microsoft 365 tenancy on your behalf. A Defender subscription allows us to hunt for threats and take action across your network without having an onsite presence. When we find a malicious email, we have the tools to remotely delete that email for all users in your environment. Defender includes the following modules:

- Safe Attachments
In the unlikely event that a threat gets through the above modules, we will receive real time alerts and will take the necessary action. Some sample alerts are:
- A potentially malicious URL click was detected
- Email reported by user as malware or phish involving one user
